“Stop Playing Yourself: Quit The Emotional Booty-Calls & Texts!”
“Stop Playing Yourself: Quit The Emotional Booty-Calls & Texts!”

Some of us may know the pop artist, Ke$ha, no? In 2017, she had released the song entitled, “Praying” where she performed it at the Grammy’s like a powerful statement standing up in the #metoo movement. Yet, her 2010 unreleased song entitled “booty call,” obviously did not get the same reaction; however, it is something that would be an interesting conversation starter for this particular blog…
“Protect Your Heart”
This photo was taken on a simple weekend getaway with the girls to South Beach, Miami. I came across it and remember the thought in which came to mind when I captured the street art in which probably has flooded Instagram feeds in the hashtag of #Wynwood where hipsters some what create a collage alongside graffiti art.
More often than not we hear often people say, “Guard your heart!” That can be…
“Do As I Say Not As I Do”
This saying rings a bell for you, doesn’t it? Asking someone to do as you say is to have that person model after your instructions, but not your actions. Although it is indicative of someone not being perfect, it still always leaves me bewildered. This had become more real to me with something that I had witnessed recently.
I will use an example to illustrate a point: You are in your teens as a…
I Can Only Imagine

The story of a musician, Bart Millard from the Christian band Mercy Me, surprised everyone for its opening weekend taking #3 at the box office!
“I never, ever, in my wildest dreams, expected to be competing — with a $7 million film, with a marginal P&A budget — with ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Tomb Raider,’” Jon Erwin said. “This is a Cinderella story of an independent film [made] completely outside the…
Obedience is Better than Sacrifice
Obedience is Better than Sacrifice

1 Samuel 15:22
But Samuel replied, “…Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.”

Traveling back to New York after 3 months has placed a lot of things into perspective. For starters, I realized how much I’ve grown over the passed 9 months living in the city of Philadelphia. Come to think of it, 9 months is the same amount of time as giving birth.…

No Two Stories Are The Same ©️ 2018

Second
One Sec.
The Sixtieth part of …
A Minute … becomes
The Sixtieth part of …
An Hour
So here, I’ve been challenged
I’ve been called up higher
Those seconds that turned into minutes …
Often limited my creativity
I had become timid
Yet I am committed to seeing
A difference in the rhythmic pattern of breaking free from being indifferent
Passion stirred up within days …
Days … there is three…
2015 October 7 // 📷 : @rx.xf | We fool ourselves to think that we have made it. One of the things that dawned on me is that we can sometimes allow one moment of anger place us under condemnation; however in 1 John 3:20 we forget about the latter part of the verse, “God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.” If God knows everything, then he knows that we were going to face that momentary aspect of darkness because it has to be brought to the light in order for it to be dealt with. If you don’t put the darkness into the contrast of the white [black against white], then how would you know that you are in darkness? How would you realize it? | moment of reflection | moment of wonder | #vsco #vscocalifornia #vscocamgram #vscoblackandwhite #vscocontrast #vscogrid #vscocam #California #losangeles #whitehotel #contrast #photooftheday #photographers #latergram (at Los Angeles, California)
2015 October 5 // There is more to life than the obvious, yet we are so confined by the things that are familiar. We tend to retaliate the very desires that God places in our hearts because we are afraid of getting hurt again. At times we refuse to open our eyes to the endless possibilities that our Heavenly Father sets before us. He made us unique and set apart for a purpose. This photograph of the city of #LosAngeles was taken with the canon 70D camera and it also dawned on me that I finally was able to visit the west coast Mecca urban city. In retrospect, it showed me also how vast, how wide and how endless the mission field is. Traveling the world you end up realizing the need is greater than anything that you are worried or anxious about. The verse of Matthew 6:33 holds true … if you set your eyes on his kingdom, then you really will have everything else call into place as is should. #MomentsofReflection #Complexity #urban #cityscape #california #city #nightscene #westcoast #vsco #vscocam #vscophile #vscodaily #vscocity (at Los Angeles, California)
